Marshalltown: Country Road

Marshalltown: Country Road is a suspense/horror short film and the second installment in the Marshalltown series.
Jackson and Stephanie are traveling through rural Indiana when their unreliable car finally breaks down on an isolated country road. A local farm hand stops and appears to be exactly the kind of stranger they were hoping would come along—friendly, capable, and willing to help. But when his intentions are revealed, Stephanie finds herself fighting for survival far from anyone who can hear her.
Country Road begins as a character-driven road trip between an affectionate, sarcastic couple before shifting into a tense rural survival story.
Filming will take place in the Anderson, Indiana area in Spring 2027. This is a paid, non-union production. The film contains simulated violence, blood effects, physical struggle, running, falling, and horror imagery.
